INTERVIEW WITH CHAD REINER KOC: Chad you’re coming off a first round submission win over Nate Martin at Max Fights DM in August. How did that fight feel for you? Did everything go according to plan? CHAD: Not really...I won the fight easily but was hoping to work my stand up on him. I was surprised when he tried to take down. He is a boxer and I expected him to want to stand. KOC: Chad I know you usually fight at welterweight (170) how do you feel about moving up to middleweight (185) for this fight? CHAD: I don’t have a problem moving up in weight, I would probably be a lot heavier if I wouldn't fight so often. I feel comfortable moving up. KOC: Chad you are set to fight Chris Camozzi, a very tough opponent from Colorado. How do you feel about this fight? Are you training any differently? CHAD: I am focusing a lot on all aspects of the game for this fight. It could go anywhere. I am really working on my standup game more than anything. KOC: When will your official training camp for this fight begin? CHAD: I have already begun my training camp for this fight. I am coming off a loss and I will make ensure I do every thing in my power to make this one a win. KOC: I know you have a lot of wins in the ring either by submission or by TKO any preference as to where this fight takes place? CHAD: I have no clue where the fight will end up... I am hoping by KO/TKO but who knows, this fight could go any where. KOC: What is your prediction for this fight? CHAD: My prediction is I will win, I don’t think the fight will go the distance. KOC: Is there anything else you would like to say? CHAD: Nothing really, just would like to thank my gym Elite Performance for the great training |
